Every Solar Install
Plants a Tree
We've partnered with the South African Reforestation Trust to give back to the land that powers us. For every solar solution installed through Green Quotes SA, we donate R150 to plant an indigenous tree in South Africa.
South African Reforestation Trust
Green Quotes SA is a listed partner of SAReforest — a conservation platform connecting active landowners who plant and extend indigenous, pristine forests protected for generations to come.
How Your Tree Gets Planted
No extra steps needed. Every completed solar installation automatically triggers a tree planting donation.
Solar installation Completed?
When a solar solution is completed through Green Quotes SA, R150 is donated on your behalf.
We donate to SART
The South African Reforestation Trust receives the donation and allocates it to a reforestation site.
A tree is planted
An indigenous tree is planted at a managed, protected reforestation site somewhere in South Africa.
The Power of an Indigenous Tree
SAReforest plants only locally indigenous trees — in the right spots, on degraded land, for the long term.
Carbon Sequestration
Each indigenous tree absorbs CO₂ over its lifetime, actively combating climate change.
Water Cycle Restoration
Forests increase rainfall, protect watersheds and reduce soil erosion across South Africa.
Biodiversity Sanctuary
SAReforest sites become protected habitats for local wildlife, flora and fauna.
Indigenous Species Only
Only the right trees in the right spots — always locally indigenous, diverse and protected.
A Trust You Can Trust
The South African Reforestation Trust is a fully accredited non-profit with tax-exempt status — your donation makes a real difference.
SAReforest is a platform of conservation-active landowners who plant and extend indigenous, pristine and diverse natural forest ecosystems, protected and secure for generations to come.
Each reforestation site is independently managed by conservation and rehabilitation professionals with deep knowledge of local natural conditions. Sites are a sanctuary for both flora and fauna — felling of indigenous trees and hunting are strictly prohibited.
Forests are the lungs and filters of our Earth. Natural forests produce oxygen, sequester carbon dioxide, clean the air, create rain, make soil and cool the surface of our planet. Forests make us live.
Go Solar. Plant a Tree.
